SwordScape Park is a visionary public space celebrating the cultural heritage and natural beauty of Bukit Merah. Inspired by the legend of the swordfish and the area’s rich history, the park blends playful, educational, and sensory elements to create an inclusive environment for all ages. Positioned in a dynamic urban setting, it serves as a central hub for community interaction, outdoor recreation, and immersive experiences.

Rooted in the folklore of Bukit Merah, the park’s design intertwines myth and modernity. The upper plaza, a leisure zone, features a communal garden and multi-level play platform, symbolizing the boy on the hill where children can explore and play. Connecting the upper and lower plazas, a terraced staircase with a swordfish tunnel offers a journey through history and nature. The lower plaza serves as a community gathering space, with a water play area for children and a flexible stage for events.

Designed to engage all seven senses, the park incorporates vibrant visuals, natural sounds, fragrant plants, tactile play structures, and rubberized flooring. Adventure zones challenge balance and body awareness, ensuring a rich, sensory experience for visitors of all ages.
