Our vision is to design innovative, multi-functional public spaces that bring together the beauty of nature, modern design, and community engagement. These spaces—Community Living Room, Community Play Room, and Community Col-lab—offer dynamic and interactive environments that cater to diverse users while enhancing social connections and creativity. 

Community Living Room

This vibrant public space fuses natural inspiration with modern design, featuring oversized, colorful structures formed by hexagons, triangles, and parallelograms. Its triangular roof mimics the heights of flora, creating a striking aesthetic that complements the waterfront promenade. Strategically located along Punggol’s shared path, it serves as a communal hub with cascading seating for rest, socializing, and scenic views. Designed for comfort and visual appeal, this shaded, well-ventilated space integrates water jet fountains and accent lighting, fostering social interaction and offering Instagram-worthy moments.

Community Play Room

The playground is transformed into an inclusive playscape designed for all ages. Its hexagonal modular geometry encourages imaginative play and doubles as seating for social interaction. The timber platform invites adults to engage in activities like yoga, picnics, or soft exercises, seamlessly integrating with the play area. Features such as a balancing beam, wood stepping stumps, and a net play facility enhance physical coordination and add excitement. This playful, interactive space combines functionality and aesthetics, promoting creativity and active lifestyles.

Community Col-lab

A modular grid system transforms the waterfront viewing platform into a flexible and interactive area. Designed with hexagons, triangles, and parallelograms, the system serves as planter boxes, seating, and steps, creating a playful and functional environment. Users can reconfigure the vibrant furniture to suit their needs, fostering creativity and collaboration. The design integrates an educational aspect through puzzle-like arrangements, encouraging learning and exploration. This youthful, adaptable space supports both leisure and engagement, making it a perfect complement to nearby community hubs like SAFRA Punggol and the future Punggol Digital District.

Together, these interconnected spaces inspire wonder, exploration, and community bonding, offering a unified vision of public spaces that are immersive, inclusive, and visually captivating.
